Monitoring software installed for messaging and performance (subscription included in monthly plan)

• Drive mapping for file downloads, FTP processes, identifying/troubleshooting root-cause for lost/failed connections – often due to incorrect addressing/firewall blockages for TCP/IP ports, power outages/brownouts, power supply’s, UPS surges.

• SMTP mail server issues/configurations, NetServer failures/disabled profiles,

HTTP Server jobs/instances not running, restarting subsystems due to incorrect/improper IPL’s.

• Resolving Failed/improperly configured IP printers/printers with user errors/MSGW. Report retrieval/distribution.

• Guidance on basic backup concepts – i.e. explaining backup menu’s/options, coordinating changes in accordance with media setup/rotation & Identifying proper media, basic documentation.

• Restore of data from tapes if needed

All plans include an initial review and written summary of findings when managed services begin.  Customer must maintain hardware maintenance and SWMA. Application Software support is not included, customer needs to maintain software support with software vendors.
